Welcome friends, I’m thrilled to share with you the very first episode of “It’s All Wellness,” where we dive deep into redefining well-being, putting you back into the driver’s seat of your life, health and happiness.
From my own personal battles to the profound insights that have shaped my approach to health and happiness, this episode is a heartfelt invitation to join me in exploring the true essence of being well.
My personal journey has been a rollercoaster of self-discovery, from feeling trapped and burned out to finding joy and fulfillment. In this episode we’ll explore game-changing insights that have transformed not only my life, but the lives of thousands of people I’ve worked with over the years who have been able to create positive change, no matter season of life they’re in.
On this journey together we will transform self-doubt, self-loath and self-sabotage into self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-empowerment.
- Self-Awareness: Becoming conscious of unconscious patterns and belief systems that goven why we do what we do is the first step to change. Awareness allows us to make conscious decisions that influence the quality of people, circumstances and things we allow and attract into our lives.
- Self-Acceptance: Embracing our past and present allows us to move forward with compassion and understanding. You can not change the past, and the present experience is an effect of that past. All you can do is accept where you are now and decide how you want to show up in the next moment.
- Self-Empowerment: Taking control of our lives involves a true understanding of self, then living a life aligned with our true values. It means taking responsibility. Recognising that we have the ability to respond in any moment, and how we choose to respond will very much influence our outcome.
You can not change the past, and the present experience is an effect of that past. All you can do is accept where you are now and decide how you want to show up in the next moment.
What Is Well-Being?
Well-being is more than just diet and exercise. Wellbeing is the essence for all of who you are, your relationships, health, and even shadows from your past.
Wellbeing is not…
- Eating healthy and exercising daily yet feeling exhausted from going to a job you hate or drowning in bills and having sleepless nights.
- Being financially stable yet living in guilt for never being truly present for your children or resenting your husband for never being home.
- Having a fit and toned body yet mentally living in a place of self-loath, self-doubt, anxiety, and not-enoughness.
- Having all the things you could dream of yet still feeling like somethings missing. Feeling alone, out of integrity, burnt out, or empty.

Acknowledge Your Power
A huge part of today’s conversation is that of personal power.
Personal power comes with embracing choice and responsibility. Taking responsibility for your life means that you recognize that you have the ability to respond to life’s challenges, regardless of external circumstances. It is not about blame or fault, but about reclaiming control over our choices and responses. Response-ability.
Your life, your health, your relationships, your income, your career, your environments- both internal and external, it’s all your responsibility.
If someone says or does something, you do not have control of their opinion or their behaviour. You do, however, have a choice in that moment. Do I get angry? Do I retaliate? Do I submiss? Do I swallow my words? Do I share how I really feel? Or do I try to prove them wrong? There are so many ways in that moment that you could respond and when you realize this you realize your fate isn’t at the hand of another.
The Truth of Trauma
Maybe something pretty severe has happened to you. I am not saying that this is your fault. I am saying that there is still an element of personal responsibility. Even leading trauma expert, Dr. Gabor Mate, is adamant that trauma is not an excuse for not taking personal responsibility.
You have an ability to respond to events happening around you today and those in your past. That is your responsibility. To feel and to heal. Because if you don’t, and you choose to remain unconscious and a victim to people, circumstances, and things around you there will be a ripple effect not only throughout your life, but into the lives of those you love.
Traumatic events may shape our past, but they don’t define our future. Embrace the concept of healing by taking ownership of your emotional well-being and actively working towards growth and resilience. Recognizing that we always have choices, even in difficult situations, empowers us to take control of our lives and truly heal.
The Role of Energy and Mind
Understanding the interplay between energy and mind is crucial for creating change. In this episode I explain both the neuroscience and the natural laws that shape our reality.

- Everything is Energy: From our emotions and thoughts to the material things in our surrounds, it’s all just energy and with awareness of how energy works you become empowered to truly manifest health, wealth and happiness into your life.
- It Really is Mind Over Matter: Our thoughts and focus change not only our physical body in the present moment, but actually filter how we view the world around us and influence the decisions that shape our future moments. Our brain is deleting a significant portion of the infinite opportunities that surround us, creating a perception that shapes our unique reality, but this is not necessarily the true reality. If you believe it to be true, it is true – for you.
- Consciousness is Becoming The Observer: Whether we’re intentionally becoming conscious of our energy and noticing what lights us up and what leaves us feeling depleted, or conscious of our automatic patterns that have us living on autopilot, or becoming conscious of suppressed pain that underlies why we do what we do, this journey toward becoming a conscious being truly is as simple as becoming the observer within your life. That is when we become empowered to make change and truly live a life of alignment.
Embracing Change and Growth
In this episode, I’ve shared my heart and soul with you, not just as a naturopath and wellness coach, but as a fellow traveller on this journey of life. We’ve explored the depths of well-being, the power of energy and mind, and the importance of breaking free from the unconscious patterns that dictate our lives.
I’ve embraced the uncertainty and curiosity of this beautiful messy thing called life, recognizing that all of the challenges are opportunities for renewal, growth and reinvention!
